5-Week Pottery Course – Hand Building & Wheel Throwing

New Course Dates - 22nd May - 19th June

Join ceramicist Abi for a creative and hands-on 5-week pottery course at her cosy studio in Earl's Court. Designed for beginners and those looking to reconnect with their creativity, this course focuses mainly on hand building, with an introduction to throwing on the wheel.

Each week is carefully structured to guide you through the pottery process in a relaxed and supportive environment:

  • Week 1: Introduction to hand building techniques

  • Week 2: Try your hand at wheel throwing

  • Week 3: Continue developing your hand-built project

  • Week 4: Finalise and refine your pieces

  • Week 5: Glazing your work, ready for firing

With small class sizes (maximum of 6 students), you'll receive plenty of personal guidance and time to explore your ideas. Classes are held on Thursday evenings, 6:30–8:30 pm at 17 Empress Place, SW6 1TT.

Taught by Abi – a ceramicist with over 10 years of experience – this course is perfect for anyone curious about clay, looking to try something new, or eager to dive back into making.

Come and get your hands dirty – and leave with something truly handmade.

Price includes all materials and firing costs.
